Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 July 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how OmniTutor (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you use https://omnitutor.live and related services (the “Service”).

1. Who we are

OmniTutor is an AI study product operated for learners and, where applicable, schools or institutions evaluating the product. Contact: support@omnitutor.live.

2. Information we collect

  • Account data: name, email, authentication identifiers (including Google OAuth when you choose it), and profile preferences you provide during onboarding.
  • Study content: study plans, uploads you submit for learning (for example PDFs or images), chat and voice session context, quiz and assessment responses, and progress metadata.
  • Usage and device data: approximate region for pricing, feature usage counters, basic diagnostics, and security logs (IP-derived rate limits, timestamps).
  • Billing data: plan selection and payment references processed by our payment provider (Razorpay). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Analytics: privacy-oriented product analytics (for example Umami) and, when configured, Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization enabled in our implementation.

3. How we use information

  • Provide, personalize, and improve tutoring, plans, and assessments
  • Enforce plan quotas, prevent abuse, and secure accounts
  • Process payments and fulfill paid plan entitlements
  • Respond to support requests and operational incidents
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms

4. AI processing

Study content and prompts may be sent to cloud AI providers (for example Google Vertex AI / Gemini) solely to generate tutoring responses, lesson content, video scripts, grading assistance, or voice sessions. Do not upload content you are not allowed to process. We configure providers under our production accounts; we do not sell your study content.

5. Sharing

We share data only with:

  • Infrastructure and AI processors that host or generate Service features
  • Payment processors for checkout
  • Analytics tools when measurement IDs are configured
  • Authorities when legally required

We do not sell personal information.

6. Retention

We retain account and study data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your account via support; some records may remain in backups for a limited time.

7. Security

We use industry-standard controls (encrypted transport, access-controlled storage, server-side authorization). No method of transmission is 100% secure.

8. Your choices

  • Access or update profile information in-product where available
  • Request account deletion or data export via support@omnitutor.live
  • Disable optional cookies/trackers via browser settings (may affect analytics)

9. Children

The Service is aimed at students and learners. If you are under the age where consent is required in your region, a parent or guardian should review this policy and supervise use. Contact us to remove unauthorized minor accounts.

10. International transfers

We may process data in regions where our cloud providers operate (including outside your country). Providers are selected for commercial security controls appropriate to the Service.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date on this page.
